Addison has a Masters of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins, focused in advanced math learning theory.

He was awarded as the best BC Calculus student at Phillips Academy Andover.

He has served as the director of education and lead in teacher development at venture backed ed-tech companies.

He has received multiple awards in writing and for demonstration of strong character.
He has served as a TFA corps member, and has helped over 1,000 students, developing a method for teaching in the process that has helped students grow at an average rate of 2 grade levels per year.
